DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 6!

Digital Media Sandbox Consortium

sponsored by the Innovative Technology Center

Universities in the Southeastern region are collaborating in a state-wide podcasting tournament for students and faculty. Initial competitions are being held on individual campuses. Institutions will enter the winners of the individual campus competitions into the second round, state-wide competition. State-wide winners advance to the regional final competition.

Nashville's NPR affiliate, WPLN, will facilitate judging of final nominees from each institution. Winners of state-wide tournament will be announced in June of 2008.

What is the Purpose of the Competition?

The Digital Media Sandbox Consortium would like to take the opportunity to celebrate excellence in media development. The results of the competitions will allow others to explore rich media elements and demonstrate ways podcasting can elevate the educational process in meaningful ways.
