Congratulations
to our three local winners! Their work has moved on to the statewide
competition.
Universities
across Tennessee are collaborating in a state-wide podcasting
tournament for students and faculty. Initial competitions
are being held on individual campuses. Institutions will
enter the winners of the individual campus competitions into
the second round, state-wide competition.
Nashville's NPR affiliate, WPLN, will facilitate judging of final nominees from each institution. Winners of statewide tournament will be announced in June of 2007.
What is the Purpose of the Competition?
The Tennessee Digital Media Consortium would like to take the opportunity to celebrate excellence in media development. The results of the competitions will allow others to explore rich media elements and demonstrate ways podcasting can elevate the educational process in meaningful ways.
